How To Protect Your Privacy While Getting New Neighbors

Getting new neighbors in farmville can be a tricky thing, you can be adding people that you really don’t want to know and just want to have them as FarmVille neighbors, so here is a step by step process to protect your privacy while getting new neighbors.

Step 1: Go to the upper right corner and click on “Account” and then in “Edit Friends”

Step 2: Click on create a new list

Step 3: Name your list, something like FarmVille Neighbors or FarmVille Privacy

Step 4: Go to the upper right corner again and click on “Account” and then on “Privacy Settings” and on that page in “Profile Information”

Step 5: Go to the “About Me” section and on the right button choose “Customize”

Step 6: Then choose there, “Hide this from” and choose the list that you created.

Step 7: Change all the rest of different sections in the same way: personal info, birthday…etc. but except for the “Post by me” section

Step 8: Keep the post by me available for everyone, this will let your farmville friends know about your accomplishments with new ribbons and everything you share trough farmville

Step 9: Click on “Back To Privacy” on the upper left corner.

Step 10: Go to “Contact Information”

Step 11: Now change your privacy settings for all the sections there, do the same as before.

Step 12: Now that you have all the privacy setting ready, every time you add a new friend choose the FarmVille list you created:

FarmVille Limited Lightning Collectibles: Gemstone Collection Explained

Share Share FarmVille has another new exciting feature: Lighting Collections. These new Collections, such as the Gemstone Collection, can only be found when planting crops on your farm. Players will also have the option of purchasing the items in the collection for $FV.

Note: Lightning Collections are not yet in full release. If you do receive a Gemstone, use it at your own risk it may be lost.

The Lightning Gemstone Collection has 6 components.

Free Gifables ( 3 Items ) or available for 1 $FV:
* Topaz – Common
* Amethyst – Common
* Turquoise – Common

The remaining 3 Gemstones can be found while planting crops or purchased for $FV:
* Ruby 2$FV – Uncommon
* Emerald 2$FV – Uncommon
* Diamond 3$FV -Rare

So you can be patient; accept gifts and try to find the Collectibles OR purchase them for a total of 10$FV (the complete set).

When you complete the Gemstone collection you can share a few extras with neighbors:

But, currently you will not be able to complete this collection again, as the congratulations pop explains:

"You won't be able to collect more Gemstone items, but you can still share extra Gemstone Collection items with your friends."

Upon completion players will recieve free Xp and an 'awesome trophy':

FarmVille Queen Bee: How to find a royal for your new hive

Share Share Everyone's buzzing about the new FarmVille beehive, mostly wondering how the #$!* to find a Queen Bee. So consider yourself warned: Finding this insect will most likely be a royal pain in the backside.

There are several ways to find the Queen Bee. The easiest way to find her is by keeping an eye on your Facebook Wall. Once one of your neighbors find a Queen Bee, they will also be able to share one with friends via Wall Post. Since this bee is in high demand, you'll really need to stay glued to your Wall, and click right away if you see someone giving away a Queen for free.

The second easiest way to find a Queen Bee is by purchasing one in the in-game Market. You can find the Queen Bee under the Animals category, and she costs 10 Farm Cash (roughly $2). Buy it, stick her in the hive and then start collecting Honeybees.


The most difficult way to find the Queen Bee is by harvesting flower crops on your farm or fertilizing flower crops on neighbors' farms. Some farmers have complained that it takes a LOT of harvesting and fertilizing (I found the same to be true) to actually find one of these rare bees. My suggestion: Start planting lots of flowers and ask your neighbors to do the same.



Once you locate a Queen Bee, you'll be able to find it in the gift box and then add it to the Beehive. You'll have the option to share an extra Queen Bee with your friends, and if you're feeling generous, share the wealth. Cascadian Farm Public Relations department shared with FarmVille Freak the following images of the actual Cascadian Farm Organic Blueberries as they will appear in the FarmVille Market and there is also a screen shot of Farmer Joe Cascadian's farm.

Organic Blueberries seeds will cost 20 coins to purchase, will be ready to harvest in 4 hours and will also yield 2 XP.

As notated by the picture, Crop Mastery will be available for the Organic Blueberries crop.

When you start creating a stable in FarmVille it can be a daunting task, you will need a lot of help from your neighbors, materials and also some horses to make it work.

How to get all that is needed for the Stable? Here are some tips to do it:

1. Get All the materials needed: 10 of each: brick, harness,horse shoe, wooden board and nails

2. The fastest way to finish your stable: the best and fastest way to complete your stable is trough the help from your friends in FarmVille, if you don’t have many friends I recommend you to go and get some.

You can store more cows than ever with the new Dairy Barn Expansion

You can store more cows than ever with the new Dairy Barn Expansion! Remember, the more cows you have in your Dairy Barn, the higher your chances are of producing calves!

Each of your Dairy Barns can be upgraded twice. The first upgrade will provide you with 10 extra storage and the second upgrade will provide an additional 10 extra storage.

The two upgrades will give you 20 extra storage spaces in total. There are two ways to expand your Dairy Barn. The first way to expand storage is to pay Farm Cash. If you wish to purchase the storage upgrade with Farm Cash (10 FC), you can do so by clicking the “BUY” button.Alternatively, you can hold a Barn Raising, by clicking the "Expand" button!


After choosing to expand your storage, you will receive a pop-up, like the one below.

Clicking the "okay" button will allow you to post a feed to your wall.

After posting your feed, you will have 3 days to have 10 of your friends click on your feed. (Each of your friends can help ONCE per day (24 hours). Up to a total of 3 times (once per day) during the Barn Raising. This means you do not necessarily need 10 unique friends.

When you click on a friends feed asking for Barn Raising, you will receive 100 coins.

If you wish to “give up” on the barn raising, you can click the “GIVE UP” button and the barn raising will cease. Please keep in mind that you can only raise 1 Dairy Barn at a time.

If you do not manage to get 10 clicks on your feed in three days, you can purchase the storage upgrade at a discounted price equivalent to the amount of clicks you received.

The closer you manage to get to 10 clicks, the cheaper it will be to purchase with Farm Cash.
